The Jetta M6 electric sedan has officially launched in China via the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. The manufacturer reduced the starting price by ¥1,000 compared to the pre-order phase announced in September 2026. The vehicle is available in three trim levels: 465 Pro, 555 Max, and 555 Ultra.
The base 465 Pro model starts at ¥79,800, while the mid-range 555 Max and high-end 555 Ultra are priced at ¥89,800 and ¥99,800 respectively. Jetta is also providing launch customer packages valued at ¥26,000, which include extended warranties and trade-in discounts.
The sedan is built on the Jiesi electric architecture and measures 4.81 meters in length. The 465 Pro features a 113 kW motor and a 42.9 kWh battery, offering a 465 km range under the CLTC standard. The higher trims use a 145 kW motor and a 51.9 kWh battery, providing a 555 km range.
CALB supplies the LFP battery cells, which are assembled at the FAW-Volkswagen plant in Chengdu. The vehicle supports fast charging from 30 to 80 percent in 25 minutes. Standard equipment includes a heat pump, a 3.5 kW V2L function, an 8.88-inch instrument cluster, and a 15.6-inch touchscreen.
The top-tier 555 Ultra trim incorporates a Horizon Robotics Journey 6M chip to support advanced driver assistance features, including navigation on autopilot and automated parking. Jetta offers first-year accident insurance for these assisted driving systems to initial owners.
