BYD has scheduled the official market launch of the new Qin PLUS model for October 27. The updated vehicle features a completely redesigned exterior and interior, incorporating the latest design language of the Dynasty series.

The vehicle dimensions have been increased across all metrics. The new Qin PLUS measures 4840 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1498 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2800 mm. Compared to the previous version, the length has grown by 60 mm, width by 63 mm, height by 17 mm, and the wheelbase by 82 mm.

A key technical addition is the roof-mounted LiDAR sensor, which is designed to enhance the vehicle's advanced driver-assistance capabilities. The interior has been updated with a dual-spoke steering wheel, semi-hidden air vents, ambient lighting, and improved seating comfort.

The car is powered by a 1.5L plug-in hybrid system. The internal combustion engine delivers 74 kW, while the electric motor provides a peak power of 120 kW. Buyers can choose between two lithium iron phosphate battery configurations with capacities of 16.227 kWh and 24.337 kWh, offering pure electric ranges of 107 km and 160 km respectively.
