BYD has officially opened blind pre-orders for the second-generation Seagull model. The company plans to launch the vehicle on the market before the end of the year. The new car will be available in six color options: Lime Green, Berry Pink, Mango Orange, Coconut Blue, Cream White, and Sesame Gray.
The vehicle dimensions are 4,205 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,570 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. Compared to the previous generation, the length has increased by 425 mm and the wheelbase by 150 mm. The exterior features a redesigned front fascia with trident-style headlights and a floating roof design.
The car is powered by a pure electric powertrain featuring a TZ164XYB permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 95 kW, produced by Zhengzhou BYD Auto. It is equipped with a FinDreams lithium iron phosphate battery. The interior includes a white color scheme, a column shifter, multi-color ambient lighting, and power-adjustable front seats with a massage function for the driver.
Storage capacity has been expanded, featuring a 94-liter front trunk and a rear trunk that reaches up to 1,380 liters when the second-row seats are folded. Additional interior features include automatic air conditioning, magnetic control buttons, and hidden storage compartments located beneath the second-row seats.
