BYD has officially opened blind orders for the second-generation Seal 07, a model first revealed in regulatory filings on August 7. The vehicle features a LiDAR unit on the roof, indicating the potential integration of the God’s Eye B advanced driver-assistance system.

The sedan measures 5,080 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a 2,960 mm wheelbase. Exterior options include six colors, while the interior offers three color schemes, a 20-speaker audio system, and zero-gravity front seats with massage, heating, and ventilation.

The model provides two powertrain configurations. The plug-in hybrid variant combines a 1.5T engine with a 115 kW output and a 160 kW electric motor, paired with a 38 kWh battery for a 245 km WLTC electric range. The battery-electric version features a 300 kW motor and a WLTP range of 718 km.

Storage capacity includes a 618-liter rear trunk and a 160-liter front trunk. The cabin design incorporates a floating central display, a digital instrument cluster, and a revised three-spoke steering wheel.
