Dongfeng officially released the M-Hero X700 SUV on October 25. The vehicle is a result of a collaboration between M-Hero and Huawei, incorporating the Qiankun intelligent driving system and the HarmonyOS cockpit. The model is designed for light off-road use and features a unibody construction.
The SUV is available in four configurations with prices ranging from ¥147 500 to ¥187 700. The vehicle measures 5,035 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and up to 1,910 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. Its off-road capabilities include a 37.5-degree approach angle and a wading depth of 800 mm.
The interior debuts the HarmonySpace 6 cockpit, which includes dual 15.6-inch 2.5K displays and a 74-inch Huawei XHUD. The driving system uses 27 sensors, including LiDAR, to support features like off-road navigation cruise assist. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5T plug-in hybrid powertrain with dual-motor four-wheel drive.
The powertrain produces a combined output with a 113 kW engine and motors delivering 190 kW and 215 kW, allowing for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.93 seconds. Customers can choose between 51.46 kWh and 68.10 kWh LFP batteries from CATL, providing a CLTC range of 285 km or 360 km.
The Bedrock 2.0 chassis utilizes front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension. It is equipped with magnetic rheological dampers and dual-chamber air springs, which allow for a 150 mm height adjustment range across six different levels.
