BYD has officially launched its Approved Repair network in the UK, effective 8 September 2026. The initiative, developed in collaboration with the vehicle repair management firm Vizion, starts with 138 registered repair centers across the country.
The network provides owners with access to specialized repair expertise, original manufacturer parts, and technicians trained in specific BYD protocols. The company aims to ensure that all repairs meet consistent quality standards for its electric and DM-i vehicles.
This service expansion complements the existing support package, which includes a six-year or 150 000 km warranty, maintenance services, and four years of roadside assistance. Additionally, the company previously extended its European battery warranty to 250 000 km while maintaining an eight-year term.
The move follows a period of rapid growth for the Chinese automaker in the British market. By September 2025, BYD had established 100 franchised dealerships in the UK, reaching this milestone in less than 30 months since its initial entry.
