The YangWang U9 is an all-electric supercar from BYD, featuring a 1,288-horsepower output and a 0-100 kph acceleration time of 2.3 seconds. The vehicle is built on a 1,200-volt electrical architecture and utilizes BYD's LFP Blade battery technology. It supports 500kw fast charging and is equipped with the DiSus-X hydraulic active suspension system, which uses sensors to scan the road for wheel control.

The car has a curb weight of 2,470 kg. During track testing at the Zhengzhou facility, the vehicle reached speeds of approximately 200 km/h. The U9 features carbon ceramic brakes and is currently available for purchase in China at a price of ¥1,800,000, which is approximately $269,000.

The test demonstrated that the vehicle can handle repeated laps, requiring only a 15-minute cooling break for the brakes. While the chassis and steering provide predictable handling, the weight of the vehicle and the performance of the tires remain significant factors in its overall driving dynamics compared to established supercar benchmarks.
