BYD and Honor have officially announced a strategic partnership aimed at integrating AI capabilities and smartphone services into vehicle cockpits. The collaboration focuses on cross-device ecosystem integration, AI agent fusion, and the development of high-precision Bluetooth car keys.
The partnership enables YOYO remote vehicle control, allowing users to perform tasks like voice-activated car location and vehicle preparation. Additionally, the integration supports full smartphone desktop mirroring, enabling access to all mobile applications directly from the car's infotainment system.
The companies are implementing a cross-device voice assistant system, A2A, which allows the car's voice interface to control smartphone functions. Previous integration efforts, announced in August, already enabled features like seamless music streaming and quick access to WeChat via the DiLink 100 platform.
Beyond technical features, the agreement covers channel ecosystem development and joint marketing. The companies plan to adopt a product co-display and data co-operation model, while coordinating marketing efforts around major vehicle and smartphone product launches.
