BMW has officially unveiled the eighth generation of its 3 Series gasoline models. The lineup includes the 330, 330 xDrive, and the top-tier M350 xDrive, which replaces the previous M340i xDrive. The vehicles are built on an upgraded version of the CLAR platform, while the interior design adopts the layout from BMW's new generation of electric vehicles.

The M350 xDrive features a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. It delivers 437 horsepower and 580 Nm of torque, achieving 0-96 km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds. The 330 and 330 xDrive models are equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 255 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, reaching 0-96 km/h in 5.9 seconds.

The interior includes a 17.9-inch infotainment display and the panoramic iDrive system. BMW has introduced a new Drift Moment feature for the M350, which shifts power to the rear wheels, expected to arrive via an OTA update next year. Additionally, the L2 driver assistance system allows for manual steering, acceleration, or braking inputs without deactivating the automated functions.
