The unofficial PC port of Bloodborne, developed by the community, has achieved significant performance gains through the integration of NVIDIA DLSS frame generation technology. Originally released in 2015 for PlayStation 4, the game was previously limited to 30 FPS at 1080p resolution, often suffering from instability.

Testing conducted by MxBenchmarkPC on an RTX 4070 graphics card showed that the port reaches approximately 220 FPS at 1080p resolution with frame generation enabled. At native 4K resolution with DLAA, the game averages 40 FPS, which increases to over 100 FPS in DLSS quality mode and approximately 130 FPS in performance mode.

Developers are currently experimenting with path tracing for the title using RTX Remix to reconstruct lighting, shadows, and reflections. By converting static geometry and reading dynamic geometry from the shadPS4 emulator, early demonstrations in areas like Hunter's Dream show visible changes in visual atmosphere.

The path tracing project remains in the early proof-of-concept stage. Developers have noted that it currently suffers from visual artifacts and performance issues. There is no official release plan, and a public version is not expected to be available in the near future.
