Blockworks has introduced Agentic Detection, a new feature for its Monitoring product that utilizes proprietary AI agents to deliver risk alerts in approximately five seconds. This represents a significant reduction from the previous manual review process, which required eight to ten minutes.
The system monitors over 1,000 assets across 55 subcategories by aggregating data from sources including X, Discord, Telegram, GitHub, and more than 1,000 news outlets. Alerts are delivered via Slack, Telegram, email, webhooks, and APIs, specifically targeting institutional risk desks.
To ensure accuracy, alerts are tagged as Agent-detected until verified by a human analyst. This dual-layer approach is designed to balance the need for speed with the institutional requirement for reliability, helping users manage risks like smart contract exploits and bridge pauses.
The technology builds upon the data infrastructure of Messari, which Blockworks acquired in June for more than $10 million. The acquisition provided Blockworks with an established monitoring platform previously used by exchanges and risk management teams.
