Black Forest Labs released the FLUX 3 Image Klein model on October 15. The model features 5.6 billion parameters and is specifically optimized for consumer-grade graphics processing units.
The model requires 12.2 GB of VRAM for BF16 weights and 5.6 GB for FP8 weights. Users can run the INT8 version on NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs with 8 GB of VRAM using ComfyUI or Diffusers.
Performance tests show the INT8 version generates a 1MP image in approximately 4 seconds on an RTX 5090. On an RTX 4070, the same task takes less than 9 seconds via ComfyUI.
FLUX 3 Image Klein supports text-to-image generation, image editing, and multi-reference generation. It natively handles 4K resolution and offers pixel-level editing capabilities.
