The upcoming Bentley Continental Supersports convertible features a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine producing 657 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle utilizes an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission to deliver power to the rear wheels. This model follows the coupe version, which marked the first rear-wheel drive configuration in the 23-year history of the Continental line.

Design elements of the prototype include a matte black finish, a distinct front grille, and a large rear spoiler. The vehicle is equipped with Pirelli P-Zero tires, with an option for Trofeo RS tires for track use. The car also features a titanium exhaust system developed in partnership with Akrapovic.

While the Supersports coupe achieved a weight reduction of approximately 455 kg compared to standard models, the convertible variant is expected to be heavier due to the nature of the body style. The coupe version was limited to a production run of 500 units, priced at $490 150 each.

Industry expectations suggest that Bentley will produce another 500 units for the convertible version. The price for the new model is projected to exceed $500 000. A potential debut for the vehicle is scheduled for the Los Angeles Auto Show this November.
