Baseus has launched the PrimeSentinel U2 Pro, an outdoor security camera featuring dual 3K lenses and active deterrence capabilities. One lens provides fixed monitoring, while the second camera includes a motorized gimbal with 360-degree rotation and zoom functionality. The device is equipped with a motion-tracking spotlight that illuminates and follows moving targets to improve night vision clarity and deter intruders.

The camera integrates AI to distinguish between people, pets, vehicles, and packages, while filtering out irrelevant motion like swaying branches. Recorded events are stored on an encrypted 512GB local memory card. Users can access footage remotely via the Baseus mobile app or stream live video through Amazon Alexa and Google Home platforms.

Designed for flexible installation, the device mounts to walls or ceilings and connects via Wi-Fi. It is powered by a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 150 days under typical usage. A 3W solar panel is included, which can be mounted on the camera or placed separately; 40 minutes of sunlight exposure provides enough energy for one day of operation.

The PrimeSentinel U2 Pro is currently available in the US for $269.99. The European launch took place on October 15, with a retail price of €269.99.
