BAIC Group and CATL have officially signed a comprehensive agreement to deepen their cooperation in the battery swapping sector. The signing ceremony was attended by BAIC Group Chairman Zhang Jianyong and CATL Chairman and CEO Zeng Yuqun.

The partnership covers vehicle and battery product design, development, and the construction of battery swapping station networks. Both companies intend to standardize swapping technology and create a shared, interoperable infrastructure across the country.

BAIC plans to integrate multiple vehicle brands into CATL's EVOGO battery swapping ecosystem. The companies will also work together on energy service products and innovative business models to improve overall industry efficiency.

Furthermore, BAIC will open its dealer network to CATL. The companies plan to explore joint operation models by building battery swapping stations at dealer locations to provide more accessible energy services for users.
