Autoheal AI Inc. has secured $7.9 million in a seed funding round. The investment was led by Innovation Endeavors, with participation from Emergent Ventures, U&I Ventures, Darkmode Ventures, Batch Ventures, and Param Hansa Values.
The startup provides a platform for managing and improving AI agents used in software development. It functions by creating a shared engineering context graph, utilizing an Evaluator agent to rate performance and a Healer agent to implement improvements through version-controlled pull requests.
The platform operates within a company's private cloud environment, connecting to existing coding agents, code repositories, and CI/CD pipelines. It aims to provide security controls and cost management for enterprise-scale agent deployments.
Autoheal has already attracted enterprise clients, including Nomura Holdings Inc., AvidXchange Inc., and Empiric Earth Inc. According to the company, these organizations have utilized the platform to reduce incident resolution times and save engineering hours.
The company plans to develop reinforcement learning techniques to train small language models on private engineering data. Future goals include expanding the architecture beyond software engineering into data and security engineering domains.
