Open Mobile Platform has released Aurora Center 5.7.0, a device management platform that now supports deployment across two data centers. The system enables simultaneous load processing on both sites and features automatic failover if one data center becomes unavailable.
The update introduces granular policy management, allowing administrators to set start and end dates for application installations, file deliveries, and script execution. Group management has been enhanced with scheduled reboot options, and LDAP integration now supports dynamic group creation and improved user synchronization.
For Linux-based devices, including Astra Linux and Alt OS, the platform now offers centralized access to Aurora Market storefronts. Administrators can assign specific storefronts to device groups, while the client interface has been updated with search, filtering, and visual customization tools.
Android device management now includes expanded remote diagnostics, such as Logcat and Bugreport retrieval, and new kiosk mode features. Administrators can also restrict incoming calls, manage screen orientation, and prevent users from removing centrally installed applications.
Devices running Aurora OS receive new time synchronization and time zone management rules. The platform also supports centralized printer configuration for Aurora OS 5.2.0 and automated permission granting for applications installed via the management console.
Aurora Center is designed to manage large-scale infrastructures, with the capacity to handle over one million devices in a single project. The platform is currently utilized by organizations such as Russian Railways, Lenta, Inter RAO, and Rostelecom.
