The new 3.1.0 release of the Inscale platform introduces support for fault-tolerant Fibre Channel storage with multipath capabilities. The system automatically manages disk and path monitoring, allowing for manual recovery via the Datastore Doctor tool if automatic restoration fails.

The update includes a built-in public key infrastructure that automates certificate issuance and renewal for cluster nodes and connection gateways. Additionally, the platform now supports VXLAN overlay networks, enabling administrators to configure subnets with custom VNI identifiers and MTU settings.

Management capabilities have been expanded with a new web-based control panel accessible via HTTPS, eliminating the need for standalone administrative software. The VDI client has also been updated to improve keyboard synchronization and window management.

Administrative efficiency is enhanced through new user search features and improved permission-based resource visibility. The release also addresses 24 identified bugs across the management console, widgets, and RADIUS integration components.

Inscale is a KVM-based virtualization and VDI solution designed to replace VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft Hyper-V. The platform is deployed on bare metal and distributed through a network of authorized partners.
