The terminal software Xshell has officially launched on Huawei HarmonyOS. Users can now download the application directly from the Huawei AppGallery. The software was developed by the same team responsible for the Windows version of Xshell.

The HarmonyOS version supports SSH and Telnet connections, RDP for accessing Windows remote desktops, and SFTP for file transfers. Users can manage multiple sessions simultaneously through a tabbed interface.

Currently, the application is in an open beta phase and is free for all users, including commercial use. The developer intends to offer a free version after the beta concludes, though no specific end date for the testing period has been set yet.

At this stage, the software is compatible only with HarmonyOS-powered PCs and 2-in-1 devices. Support for smartphones and tablets is not yet available, although the company is considering future releases for these platforms.

The developer has also confirmed plans to port Xftp and Xmanager to the HarmonyOS ecosystem. The release of Xftp is scheduled for later this year, with Xmanager expected to follow shortly thereafter.
