The 2026 Audi Q7 has become the first production vehicle to achieve a 100 percent score in the Euro NCAP Post-Crash Safety category. This assessment evaluates the efficiency of the rescue chain, data transmission, and physical accessibility of the vehicle following a collision.

The vehicle's emergency call system automatically alerts rescue services and transmits impact data, occupant details, and location information. Assessors also verified that doors unlock and open correctly after an impact, even if low-voltage power fails, and that seat-belt buckles release easily.

Audi provides specific rescue guides for the Q7, which detail the locations of the battery, fuel lines, and structural reinforcements for emergency responders. Additionally, the SUV features a multicollision brake system that automatically stops the vehicle, engages the parking brake, and activates hazard lights after a crash.

Beyond the post-crash safety rating, the Audi Q7 received an overall five-star rating from Euro NCAP for occupant protection, pedestrian safety, and driver-assistance systems. The model is available with a three-row interior configuration capable of seating up to seven passengers.
