Boston-based supply chain startup Atomic has secured $12.5 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Klass Capital and Madrona Venture Group, bringing the company's total funding to over $15 million.

Founded by former Tesla employees Michael Rossiter and Neal Suidan, the company utilizes agentic AI to automate inventory management and supply chain decision-making. The software simulates scenarios to provide recommendations or execute actions automatically.

The startup has seen its annual recurring revenue grow fivefold since the start of 2026. Current clients include large-scale companies such as DoorDash and HelloFresh, with DoorDash reportedly managing 90% of its purchasing across hundreds of sites using the platform.

Atomic recently appointed Jeff Goodrich, a former Tesla planning director, as its CTO and third co-founder. The company is currently expanding its focus beyond consumer packaged goods into mobility and manufacturing sectors, leveraging its experience from the 2018 Tesla Model 3 production ramp.
