ASUS has officially returned to the Intel discrete graphics market with the launch of the UGen Intel Arc Pro B70. This new workstation-focused card is built on the Intel Xe2 Big Battlemage architecture and is designed specifically for AI inference tasks.
The hardware features 32GB of GDDR6 ECC memory, 32 Xe cores, and 256 XMX AI engines. It delivers up to 367 TOPS of INT8 AI performance with a typical board power consumption of 310W. The card utilizes a dual-slot design with a blower-style cooling system and a PCIe 5.0 x16 interface.
Connectivity options include one HDMI port and three DisplayPort connectors, with a memory bandwidth of 608GB/s. The card supports a wide range of AI frameworks and tools, including PyTorch, OpenVINO, oneAPI, vLLM, llama.cpp, Ollama, and Vulkan.
For demanding AI workloads, users can scale memory by installing up to four cards in a single system, providing a combined 128GB of memory. While ASUS has not disclosed the official price, similar Arc Pro B70 models typically retail between $1,299 and $2,000.
