Asus and Poesis.ai are collaborating to develop autonomous trading agents. The project combines the hardware infrastructure of Asus with the AI-driven financial modeling developed by Poesis.ai. These systems are designed to analyze market data, make decisions, and execute trades without human intervention.

Poesis.ai, founded by Alex Popa, utilizes a modular AI architecture for its financial models. The firm’s chief scientist, Charles Elkan, has a background at Amazon and Goldman Sachs. The system is intended to improve its performance through live market operations rather than relying solely on historical backtesting.

Asus is supporting the initiative by leveraging its AI server portfolio, including the XA P2N-E2 platform based on Nvidia Vera CPUs. Nvidia is also active in this space, having demonstrated multi-agent trading systems at GTC 2026 that coordinate tasks like sentiment analysis, price tracking, and risk management.

The development of autonomous trading systems has raised questions regarding financial regulations. Authorities are currently examining issues of accountability, specifically determining liability for financial losses caused by autonomous agents between hardware manufacturers, software developers, and deployment firms.
