Armadin, a cybersecurity startup founded by Mandiant creator Kevin Mandia, has secured $255.5 million in a Series B funding round. This investment brings the company's total funding to approximately $445 million and pushes its valuation past $2.5 billion, just seven months after its public launch in March 2026.

The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Accel, with participation from new investors Bain Capital Ventures and Redpoint. Existing backers, including Google Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, Menlo Ventures, In-Q-Tel, 8VC, and Ballistic Ventures, also contributed to the financing.

Armadin utilizes swarms of AI agents to simulate cyberattacks within a sandboxed environment. By testing replicas of client systems, the platform identifies vulnerabilities before they can be exploited by real-world attackers. The company targets large enterprises and government agencies.

The startup intends to allocate the new capital toward platform expansion, research and model training, and the growth of its sales and go-to-market operations. Kevin Mandia previously founded Mandiant, which was acquired by Google for $5.4 billion in 2022.
