Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max during its Surprise and Shine event. The devices retain the design of their predecessors but introduce significant hardware updates, including a new camera system and enhanced thermal management.
The camera module features a 48-megapixel sensor with a six-blade variable aperture system designed to improve low-light performance. The phones are powered by the new A20 Pro chip and incorporate a redesigned vapor chamber for cooling.
Battery life has been extended, with the iPhone 18 Pro supporting 36 hours of video playback and the Pro Max model reaching 45 hours. Additionally, Apple introduced a new burgundy color option to the lineup.
The company also debuted an updated Siri AI with contextual on-screen intelligence. The feature launches this month in English alongside iOS 27, with support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish scheduled for October.
