Apple has opened preorders for its new AirPods 5, which feature active noise cancellation across the lineup. The devices are available through major retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and the official Apple store. The official market launch is scheduled for September 18.
The standard version is priced at $129 and introduces active noise cancellation to the entry-level model. For $149, users can purchase an upgraded version that includes a wireless charging case, extended battery life, and touch-sensitive stems for volume control.
The release of the new earbuds coincides with the launch of several other Apple products. On September 18, the company will also release the Apple Watch Series 12, the Apple Watch Ultra 4, and the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models.
