Apple has introduced the new 24-inch iMac powered by the M6 chip, with a starting price of ¥12 499. A notable design change involves the 2.5Gb Ethernet port, which is now integrated into the power adapter rather than the computer chassis itself.
For the base model, which features a 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and dual 16-core Neural Engine, the 2.5Gb Ethernet port is not included by default. Users can add this feature as an optional configuration for an additional cost of ¥200.
The higher-end configuration, equipped with a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU, comes with the 2.5Gb Ethernet port as a standard feature. This model has a starting price of ¥13 999 and does not require extra payment for the network connectivity option.
