Huawei has officially launched the new color variants of its FreeClip 2 open-ear headphones. The device is now available for purchase at a price of ¥1299. Customers can choose from three distinct color combinations: red and yellow, blue and yellow, or red and blue.

The headphones feature Huawei's third-generation low-power chip, which integrates an NPU for AI processing, reportedly increasing computing power by 10 times. The device supports the HarmonyOS AI assistant, enabling features such as head-tracking notifications, smart broadcasting, and real-time translation via the Celia voice assistant.

The audio system utilizes 10.8mm dual-magnet acoustic drivers, which deliver a 100% increase in loudness and low-frequency power. The hardware supports L2HC audio encoding, spatial audio with 40% lower head-tracking latency, and NearLink technology for precise device location and audio transmission.

The battery setup includes a 60mAh unit in each earbud, providing 9 hours of playback, and a 537mAh charging case that extends total battery life to 38 hours. A 10-minute charge provides 3 hours of usage. The design uses liquid silicone and memory metal, weighs 5.1g per ear, and holds an IP57 rating.
