Apple has integrated an AI-powered Intelligent Assistant into its Pages, Keynote, and Numbers applications. The tool, supported by OpenAI models, allows users to draft text, create presentations, and generate spreadsheet formulas using natural language commands directly within the documents.

The update introduces support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) in macOS 27 and later versions. This allows third-party AI agents to interact with Apple's productivity suite, enabling users to utilize external models to manage documents, presentations, and data tables.

Creative software updates include a Generative Fill feature for Pixelmator Pro and new AI-assisted tools for Logic Pro, which can automatically categorize sound samples and configure vocal tracks. Final Cut Pro will also receive an integrated Content Hub with stock assets.

These features are currently available in beta for devices supporting Apple Intelligence, requiring iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27. Apple plans to release these updates to existing Creator Studio subscribers in November at no additional cost.
