Apple announced a major update for its creative suite, introducing professional tools and AI-powered features. The update includes the integration of MotionVFX into Final Cut Pro for Mac, providing access to thousands of visual effects, templates, and motion graphics. Users can now perform rotoscoping, tracking, and color grading directly within the application.
The update enhances cross-app workflows, allowing users to edit images in Pixelmator Pro and have changes automatically reflected in Final Cut Pro. Logic Pro for Mac and iPad features a redesigned interface and new AI-driven audio analysis tools. Additionally, Keynote now supports the .keyx format and MCP, enabling external AI agents to read and edit documents.
The software suite will be available as a free update via the App Store in November. New subscribers can access the suite for ¥38 per month or ¥380 per year, with a one-month free trial available. Educational pricing is set at ¥18 per month or ¥180 per year. Family sharing allows up to six members to access the content.
Individual apps remain available for one-time purchase on the Mac App Store: Final Cut Pro at ¥1,998, Logic Pro at ¥1,298, and Pixelmator Pro, Motion, and Compressor at ¥328 each, with MainStage priced at ¥198. Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and Freeform continue to be provided free of charge on new devices.
