Apple has scheduled a new product event in New York for October 13. The presentation will begin at 9:00 AM Eastern Time. The company is using the slogan Welcome home for the upcoming announcement, which suggests a focus on smart home technology.
The company is expected to unveil several new devices, including a smart home hub featuring a 6-inch display, an updated version of the HomePod Mini speaker, and a new Apple TV set-top box.
Reports indicate that Apple may collaborate with LG on a range of smart home products. These potential releases include a video doorbell, a smart thermostat, and an indoor security camera. Leaked renders of these devices have already appeared online.
