Apollo has introduced the Dash, its most affordable electric scooter to date. The model carries a retail price of $699, though it is currently available for $599 as part of a Black Friday promotion valid until November 30.
The scooter features a 48V electrical system with a 600W nominal and 1,200W peak-rated Bosch motor. It reaches a top speed of 20 mph and offers a range of up to 25 miles in Eco mode using a 480Wh battery. The device weighs 19.5 kg and supports a maximum rider weight of 100 kg.
The Dash includes IP66 water resistance, self-healing tubeless tires, regenerative braking, turn signals, and NFC unlocking. It also integrates with Apple Find My and the Apollo smartphone app. The frame underwent 10,000 km of durability testing, while a beta program recorded 1,002 miles of usage.
With this launch, Apollo aims to compete in the mass-market segment. Previously, the company focused on premium models often priced above $1,000. Data indicates that 52% of Apollo customers previously owned scooters from brands like Segway, NIU, and Xiaomi.
