Anthropic has integrated its Claude chat, Cowork, and Artifacts features into a single interface. The update aims to eliminate user confusion by automatically routing requests to the appropriate tool without requiring manual tab switching.
The platform now includes dedicated tools for creating documents and presentations. Users can generate slides, edit them, and export the results as PDF or PowerPoint files. The Docs feature allows for collaborative editing, commenting, and section creation.
New functionality enables cross-device workflows, allowing users to start tasks on desktop and monitor progress via mobile. Documents and presentations can be shared via links and edited directly on mobile devices.
These updates follow an upgrade to the Cowork memory layer, which improves context retention across user sessions. Claude Design, introduced in April, remains accessible throughout the unified interface.
The features are currently rolling out to Pro and Max plan subscribers on web, desktop, and mobile platforms. Anthropic intends to expand availability to free and team tiers in the future.
