Ant Group has launched Lingguang 2.0, an AI assistant designed to transition from passive task execution to proactive transaction management. The system is built to identify user needs, monitor status changes, and manage long-term tasks beyond single conversation sessions.

The platform utilizes independent cloud hosting to maintain operations even after users exit the chat. It integrates with various services, including Alipay, DingTalk, Feishu, and email, allowing it to track subscription renewals, monitor travel price fluctuations, and organize school notifications.

Lingguang 2.0 supports cross-platform capabilities by calling tools like MCP and CLI. It manages workflows ranging from personal finance and travel to smart home device control and scheduling tasks like pet care or vehicle inspections.

To address security, the system incorporates the APASS infrastructure. This framework manages identity authentication, intent security, and privacy protection, ensuring agents execute tasks without direct access to authorization keys. Users retain full control to view or revoke permissions.
