Anker has unveiled the Eufy Video Doorbell S4, priced at $300. The device features a 3K HDR camera with a resolution of 3072×3072 pixels and a frame rate of up to 24 fps. It offers a 180-degree horizontal and vertical field of view, along with 8x zoom capabilities.
The doorbell introduces VR-viewing functionality, allowing users to explore the entrance area by rotating their smartphone or using a VR headset. Upon a button press, the system sends a call-like notification to the user's phone, enabling full-screen panoramic viewing and two-way audio communication.
The Eufy OmniTrack AI system handles visitor tracking, keeping subjects centered in the frame. The device includes radar and dual PIR sensors capable of detecting movement at distances up to 8 meters. It also supports human, face, and package recognition.
Additional features include color night vision with dual spotlights. The doorbell integrates with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit. Compatibility with Apple HomeKit requires the use of the HomeBase S380 gateway.
