Angle Health, a startup founded in 2019, has secured $200 million in a Series C funding round. The company also announced a $400 million tender offer, which enables employees to sell a portion of their equity. Following these transactions, the business reached a valuation of $2.7 billion. The company expects the deal to close by the end of September.

The funding round was led by Vitruvian Partners. Other participants included Town Hall Ventures, Blumberg Capital, Portage Ventures, PruVen Capital, and Y Combinator. Angle Health is a graduate of the winter 2020 Y Combinator accelerator program.

The platform provides level-funded health plans for small businesses, acting as a bridge between fully insured and self-funded models. These plans allow companies to make predictable payments while retaining the potential to receive a share of the surplus if medical expenses remain low. The system integrates directly with existing payroll and HR software.

Angle Health currently serves more than 5,000 corporate clients. The company reports that it has achieved profitability through its AI-powered management platform, which assists small businesses in selecting and administering their insurance coverage.
