AnchorWatch has officially launched its Nevada-chartered trust company, AnchorWatch Trust Company (ATC), to provide qualified Bitcoin custody services. The firm targets fiduciaries, public companies, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals, offering a model that allows clients to hold keys alongside the custodian.

The company differentiates its service through a fixed-fee pricing structure rather than the industry-standard percentage-of-assets model. Fees are tiered by vault size and capped at $10,000 per month. According to AnchorWatch, this cap can result in annual savings of six or seven figures for large enterprises.

ATC provides two primary custody models: Flagship Custody and multi-institution custody. The latter distributes key control across three entities: AnchorWatch, BitGo, and CoinCorner. This approach is designed to mitigate concentration risk, a significant concern for institutional holders following past industry failures.

Clients can access insurance coverage backed by A+ rated Lloyd’s of London syndicates, with limits of up to $370 million per client. The policy covers losses from events such as violent coercion, kidnapping, and fraudulent acts by the custodian. Insurance is available to U.S.-domiciled entities and residents.

The underlying platform, Trident Vault, has been operational for 20 months and has undergone security audits by firms including Halborn and Doyensec. The service is subject to standard KYC and AML requirements, with broader jurisdictional availability for non-insured custody options.
