Anaconda Inc. is expanding its enterprise AI platform by integrating tools for agent orchestration, security testing, and production deployment. This shift follows the acquisitions of Kilo Code Inc., Enkrypt AI Inc., and Outerbounds. The company aims to transition from a Python package provider to an AI-native development platform.
The new platform features agent swarms, where tasks are delegated to subagents that communicate via a secure message board. Integration with Microsoft Visual Studio Code, powered by Kilo technology, allows users to manage data science environments and access over 500 models. Research from Anaconda indicates that 63% of respondents are adopting agent swarms.
Security enhancements include autonomous red-teaming agents from Enkrypt that test models across more than 300 attack categories. The platform employs a least-privilege access model and includes a public Agent Incident Registry. Research by Enkrypt identified vulnerabilities in 73% of agent tools across more than 25,000 Model Context Protocol servers.
Outerbounds provides orchestration for repeatable workflows, while the company’s curated catalog now includes 77 models. Anaconda reports that 95% of Fortune 500 companies use its software. A fully integrated commercial package is expected to launch early next year, featuring a platform fee and consumption-based pricing.
