AMD is expanding the reach of its FSR 4.1 upscaling technology, which is now rolling out to a broader range of hardware. The update is available starting today for Radeon RX 6000-series GPUs, as well as Ryzen AI Max 300 and 400 series devices and Ryzen AI 9 300 and 400 series hardware. Users can access these features by installing the latest Adrenalin Edition 26.10.1 drivers.

The technology is also confirmed for Xbox Series S and X consoles, though specific release dates remain unannounced. AMD and Microsoft are currently collaborating on Project Helix, which will utilize FSR Diamond for future performance optimizations. This follows the March launch of FSR 4.1 for Radeon RX 9000-series graphics cards.

FSR 4.1 aims to enhance performance across more than 300 supported titles, including Cyberpunk 2077, Battlefield 6, and Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The release follows a recent partnership between AMD and Sony to introduce Quick Spectral Super Resolution to the base PlayStation 5, a project developed under the internal codename Project Amethyst.
