An engineering sample of an AMD processor, identified by part number 100-000001930-12_Y, has appeared in recent benchmark tests. The chip was evaluated on an AMD GBR-FF6-SKT validation board, with the CPU operating at a clock speed of 2.4 GHz.
The system configuration includes 24GB of LPDDR5 memory, composed of four 6GB SK Hynix packages, operating at 9,600 MT/s. For comparison, the current Steam Deck utilizes 16GB of LPDDR5 memory running at 6,400 MT/s.
Technical data suggests the processor belongs to AMD’s Family 1Ah, model DCh. Linux kernel documentation associates this model range with the upcoming Zen 6 architecture, though it remains unclear if the chip will utilize standard Zen 6 or Zen 6C cores.
The integrated GPU was tested at a clock speed of 2,400 MHz. Using the GpuTest suite on Ubuntu 24.04, the chip achieved scores of 3,871 in GiMark, 3,508 in FurMark, and 9,319 in TessMark. These tests were performed on an engineering platform rather than a final consumer device.
