AMD has released the optional Adrenalin Edition 26.10.1 driver, which introduces support for FSR Upscaling 4.1. This feature is now compatible with Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards, as well as Ryzen AI Max 300/400 and Ryzen AI 9 300/400 series processors.
The update adds support for three new titles: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, and Final Fantasy: Resonance. Additionally, the driver addresses performance issues, specifically resolving stuttering encountered in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Radeon RX 6000 series hardware.
The release notes detail several known compatibility issues. Users of Radeon RX 7000 series cards may experience crashes in Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Remastered, while RX 5000 series users might face driver timeouts in War Thunder. For the latter, AMD recommends reverting to version 26.9.1.
Further known issues include system shutdowns or driver timeouts in Valor Mortis on RX 7600 and RX 7000 series cards, and potential black screens in Fallout 76 on Ryzen AI Max PRO 400 processors. Users are advised to disable specific features like frame generation or performance overlays to mitigate crashes.
