Amazon has launched the 2026 version of the Fire TV Stick 4K, featuring a more compact design and improved performance. The device is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor and includes 8 GB of internal storage. It supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and video decoding for 4K at 60 fps, including H.264, H.265, VP9, and AV1 formats.

The new model supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, though it lacks Dolby Vision support, which remains exclusive to the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. A significant shift is the transition from the Android-based Fire OS to the new Vega OS. Amazon reports that the platform currently hosts over 2,000 applications, such as Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Prime Video, HBO Max, Spotify, VLC, and Xbox.

The updated stick features a slim design allowing direct USB power from a television. Alongside the device, Amazon introduced a new remote with a redesigned shape and a customizable Star button for quick access to apps or functions. The remote is available separately for $15, and a premium Fire TV Remote Plus with an aluminum body and backlit keys is planned for next year.

The Fire TV Stick 4K (2026) is priced at $60, with a temporary promotional price of $30 during the Prime Big Deal Days event.
