The experiment focuses on modifying the manufacturing process for printed circuit boards using a standard CNC 3018 machine. Instead of traditional milling, which generates significant noise and dust, the author utilizes a method of scratching the traces with a standard triangular carbide tool.

To optimize the process, the machining is performed in a specialized bath filled with soapy water. This environment serves two purposes: it eliminates dust and leverages the Rebinder effect, which reduces the hardness of the material and facilitates the cutting process.

The author is currently testing whether a standard tool can achieve higher quality results. Future plans include replacing the carbide cutter with a custom steel cylindrical tool featuring an embedded diamond tip, which is expected to eliminate tool wear during the scratching process.
