Alibaba has opened pre-orders for its new Qwen AI clip-on headphones. The device is currently listed on e-commerce platforms, though the manufacturer has not yet disclosed the final retail price.
The headphones feature an IP55 dust and water resistance rating and come in three colors: Deep Space Blue, Starlight, and Aurora Purple. The design uses 0.5mm ultra-thin memory titanium wire, specifically engineered for Asian ear shapes. Users can pair up to 8 devices simultaneously, with support for dual-device connections.
The audio system includes a 12-magnet dual-ring driver tuned by Bose, featuring dynamic EQ that adjusts frequency response based on volume. The device supports LHDC 5.0 decoding, achieving a 1Mbps transmission rate and 96KHz sampling rate, and holds Hi-Res Wireless certification.
The hardware offers up to 9 hours of battery life, extending to 40 hours with the charging case, which supports wireless charging. The headphones are integrated with Qwen AI, allowing voice control for various scenarios, real-time transcription, and offline recording.
The AI capabilities include transcription for 92 languages and translation support for 89 languages, covering both face-to-face and phone call modes.
