The Aiva ME7, a mid-size crossover coupe SUV, made its global debut on September 28 during Paris Fashion Week. This vehicle represents the first production model for the Aiva brand, signaling its shift from concept development to mass manufacturing.
The brand is managed by Saidou Technology, previously known as Landian Technology. The ownership structure includes Seres with a 32.96% stake, the state-owned enterprise Shaci Zhiyuan as the largest shareholder, and CATL, which holds approximately 9.89% of the company.
Saidou Technology maintains autonomy over product strategy and sales channels while utilizing the Seres Phoenix Factory for production. The Aiva ME7 measures 4,850 mm in length and features a wheelbase of 2,900 mm.
Aiva is positioned as a brand targeting younger consumers, distinguishing it from the older demographic typically associated with the Aito brand. The company previously conducted road tests of the camouflaged ME7 model in Turpan, China, last month.
