Aistaland, a premium electric vehicle brand established by GAC Group and Huawei, is reportedly developing models compatible with the CATL Choco battery swap network. This initiative follows a recent strategic partnership between Huawei's Newcool unit and CATL to integrate vehicles using Huawei Qiankun intelligent solutions into the swap ecosystem.

While specific launch dates and the number of models remain unconfirmed, industry reports suggest that the first partner vehicles could debut in 2027. Aistaland is currently positioned as a primary candidate to launch these models, aiming to utilize CATL's existing infrastructure rather than constructing a proprietary charging network.

CATL continues to scale its energy replenishment operations, having deployed 2,520 battery swap stations across 200 cities in China as of September 29. The company has set a long-term goal of reaching 30,000 stations and plans to install 1,000 additional units along highways between 2026 and 2027.

Aistaland currently markets two vehicles, the GT7 and the GX7. Sales figures for the brand have fluctuated, with 2,658 units sold in July, 1,100 in August, and 1,375 in September. The integration with the Choco swap network is expected to support the brand's growth by providing access to broader charging infrastructure.
