Airbus reported a strong financial performance for the first nine months of 2026, with consolidated revenue reaching €50.645 billion, a 7% increase year-over-year. Net income rose by 36% to €3.587 billion, while earnings per share reached €4.54.

The commercial aircraft division delivered 547 planes during this period, up from 507 in the previous year. Revenue for this segment grew by 8% to €36.665 billion, driven by higher delivery volumes and an expanded services business, despite the negative impact of a weaker US dollar.

The company's order book remains robust, with 1105 net orders for passenger aircraft recorded in the first nine months of 2026. By the end of September, the total backlog reached 9310 units, which represents over 12 years of production at current rates.

Airbus Helicopters maintained stable revenue at €5.646 billion, delivering 226 units compared to 218 in the same period last year. Meanwhile, the Defence and Space division saw a 5% revenue increase, totaling €9.341 billion.

Looking ahead, Airbus maintains its production ramp-up targets. The company aims to produce 13 A220s and 12 A350s per month by 2028. For the A320 family, the goal is 70–75 aircraft monthly by late 2027, while A330 production is set to reach five units per month by 2029.
