Airbus delivered 74 commercial aircraft in October 2026, bringing the total for the year to 621 units. To meet the annual target of approximately 870 planes, the company must deliver 249 aircraft over the final two months of the year. This requires an average of 124 to 125 deliveries per month, significantly exceeding the company's current production pace.

The manufacturer's previous peak in 2026 was in June, with 89 deliveries. During the same period last year, Airbus delivered 208 aircraft in November and December combined. To match the 2025 total of 793 planes, the company still needs to hand over 172 units. CEO Guillaume Faury stated that quality issues affecting the A330neo and A321neo models have been successfully contained.

In October, Airbus secured 202 new orders, including major agreements with leasing firms. Avolon placed an order for 110 aircraft from the A320neo and A330-900 families, while Aviation Capital Group also signed a deal. Additionally, Biman Bangladesh Airlines ordered ten planes, including four A350-900s. Year-to-date, the company has received 1,376 orders, with 71 cancellations recorded.
