The Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF) has expanded its portfolio by accepting four new open-source projects. These contributions from OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, and Alibaba bring the total number of projects managed by the consortium to 10, up from the three projects it oversaw at its launch in December.

OpenAI contributed Open Responses, a project designed to standardize AI model APIs. This tool allows developers to migrate code between different providers without significant modifications. Anthropic donated Agent Skills, which provides a uniform format for organizing resources that improve the output quality of AI agents and reduce the risk of hallucinations.

Hugging Face and Alibaba provided OpenEnv and OpenSandbox, respectively. These technologies focus on sandboxes, which are environments used to simulate production infrastructure for training AI models. OpenEnv simplifies the process of switching between training systems, while OpenSandbox offers APIs for managing sandbox connections to external applications.
