The Fintech Association (AFT) has concluded a pilot project focused on testing domestic server virtualization platforms. The testing process utilized hardware infrastructure provided by the technology company Yadro.
Participants evaluated several Russian software solutions, analyzing their functional capabilities, performance, and limitations. The tests included migration scenarios for virtual machines, as well as backup and recovery processes using local backup systems.
The project involved Red Soft, UK Dokhod, and Basealt SPO, with UK Dokhod acting as one of the initiators. The results confirmed that the Russian market offers multiple viable virtualization products suitable for financial sector infrastructure.
According to Kirill Kuzmin, Deputy General Director of AFT, the findings help organizations select platforms based on specific business requirements and infrastructure scale. The gathered expertise is intended to assist both companies in choosing software and vendors in refining their product development.
